"Murder Drones: Retribution (MD:R) is a narrative-driven prequel fangame that takes place on Copper-9 and tells the story of Earth's last days. Players take on the roles of N, V, and J—three worker drones locked to a run-down corporate manor—as they traverse Earth. Disassembly Drones are what happen when a terrible event makes them change into something lethal. As the three grapple with their new programming, their previously clear instructions turn into a conflict between instinct, obedience, and confused memories of their previous lives. Each character has a distinct backstory that provides insights into their origins, their true purpose, and the circumstances that preceded the main Murder Drones series. By switching between characters, players will discover how their experiences relate to the end of humanity, their departure to Copper-9, and the developing of the weird position that will decide their future."
